Showing Trimester One Who is Boss Being a parent is both a blessing and a curse, the best and yet most hardest thing in the world to do. Even when a baby is not planned, and in a lot of cases they are never planned they are still a blessing. Many women have said that even though their little one was not planned, their baby has changed their world in many ways. Some women even said that having that unexpected baby saved their lives. Being pregnant is also the best and worst experience. Some women get through pregnancy with no problems or complications and they just breeze right through it. For some other women, pregnancy can be the worst experience they have with many problems whether they be mild or extreme. Pregnancy lasts about forty weeks, and these forty weeks are sectioned into three trimesters. A trimester is a period of three months, and in each three month period new things are happening to the baby every day as it grows and transforms. Trimester one tends to be the hardest trimester for women, especially fir st time moms. Even though there are many challenges in pregnancy during trimester one, slowing down in ones day, taking the given vitamins, and eating small amounts of healthy food every so often are the biggest ways to help get women through trimester one successfully.
